Title: Nice to know I could have helped
Post by meinster on Sep 20th, 2003, 4:37pm
Guys

Just read your replies to my message,  hmmm did not really have an image when I wrote it, but it works, will be working on the film release as soon as I can get funding. thinking of Ben Affleck as the lead CH sufferer, Arnold as the CH and  SHannon Elizabeth (from American Pie fir those who do not know) as the MEDICATING RELIEF   ;D ;D ::)

Any other suggestions would be appreciated   LOL

but joking aside, the halo has helped and the sports rub at night has now given me 2 days of full sleep with no morning discomfort.  The reason why I try this is that I hate drugs.

By the way guys/gals,  I am one that hates not having reasons of why things happen, and I am looking into this CH Crap, what triggers it, how they operate. etc.  I think someone, somewhere with something may be able to help us.. I read the mushrooms idea (hmmmm, used in High School and I remmember having a good time   8)

Anyways, has anybody here asked to find out if there was maybe a connection between all of us ie. smokers, stressful jobs, eating habits, some recreational drug in high school, too many hits to the head, etc.  just wondering that is all

Bye all for now

Heinz

ps, how do you get a pic in here?

Heinz, if you read through the archives (old posts) you will find many a survey. We haven't found the common thread yet.  Also, if you want to participate in a survey there is one currently on the OUCH board.  The email addy is in the "Links" button.  Welcome aboard !

Heinz:

The archives are full of questions, polls and suggestions about causes. There just isn't any common denominator so far. There are some things that seem to have had positive effects such as childbirth and some other trauma. It usually doesn't last. There is some very iffy evidence that age may have some effect as well. Don't plan for it though.

Wish I had something more definitive.

Funny stuff by the way. Your new blood is welcome

Charlie

If you need a reason why clusters happen it is because you have a deformed hypothalamus. It’s not your fault. It’s your parents and ancestors fault. It is their inferior genes that cause you to be in pain. Cuss them.

Smoking does not cause clusterheadaches.
Eating habits do not cause clusters. If you ate only “healthy” food you’d only be malnourished and hungry and still have clusters.
Mushrooms used in high school did not cause your clusters. But it probably caused most your friends to avoid you. They thought you were to weird to be around when they were smoking pot.
Too many hits to the head does not cause clusters. But it does make you want to use mushrooms.
Stressful jobs do not cause clusters. Relaxing causes clusters. Never go home. Stay on the job and enjoy the stressful freedom from clusters.

Remember, it is your parents fault. Sue ‘em.

;D ::) ;D
