"Every night," She told the marriage counselor, "he drinks a glass of milk. When he's finished, he sets the empty glass on the kitchen counter and goes to bed. He does not rinse it out. I have asked him and asked hi. I've asked nicely, and I've screamed. Why should I rinse his glass out for him every night? If I don' do it, it's the first thing I see en the morning, this disgusting milk scum. I've even asked him, 'Will you just put the glass in the sink?' But he won't."
The Counselor looked at the husband, a balding, middle-aged man who sat with his hands in his lap, a pleasant expression on his face.
"Did you hear what she was saying?" asked the counselor.
"Yes," said the man, nodding first at him, and then at his wife, to acknowledge everyone present.

A moment of silence passed. The counselor made a note on his pad, reminding himself to pick up a gallon of milk after work. Then he made eye contact with the wife.
"There is something you need to understand," he said. "He will never, never stop drinking that glass of milk before he goes to bed, and he will never rinse it out. There is absolutely nothing you can do."
The woman looked surprised. Sometimes, even after the divorce, she would think about the counselor's words, marveling at his wisdom.

don't sweat the small stuff you might loose everything...

Whats more important....

Some give themselves HA over nothing....

Put it in the sink and deal with it it's your problem not his....

He's giving you something to bitch about...to keep you happy...

Take your pick ...I'm sure theres lots more out there... ;)

He's lucky to be rid of that whiney broad.

I'll bet she pissed and moaned every night because he left his dirty (read that smelly) socks in the living room too. Then she bitched about him leaving the toilet seat up or pissin' on it when she insised it be left down.

I'll bet she complained when he wouldn't shave before going out for dinner or attending church or making love (five minutes of sex is NOT worth 10 minutes of shaving)

I'll bet she whined about his lack of a job and lack of any attempt to find one.

I'll bet she hated it, and told him so, when he reminded her "That's not the way my mother does it".

Danged women. Ya can't live with 'em and ya can't live with 'em.
