Just want to say thank you to all of those that have helped me along the way! i will no longer be posting here! I am very sorry to whomever I offended and those were not my intentions in anyway!! I wish you all the best of luck in your battles!!

I spend a fair amount of time back in the last century scruffling thru the dusty archives of this site...It is a fact that many more people have left this Message Board than are here. You are not alone.

I'm going to assume two things.
1. You have CH.
2. You are sitting somewhere feeling sorry for yerself.

Being a testosterone engorged being...I have a compulsion to "fix things"...rather than "listen".

I'm going to feel sorry for you also....uh...butt my attention span is quite limited, so, quite honestly, I will not "feel sorry for you" for very long.

Hey there are thousands of ppl that belong to this message board....if you were offended by just a few out of MANY there really is no reason to leave. I don't to know you yet. But IMHO you shouldn't leave.

Jonny has been here a very long time. He was our guard dog...nasty little rabid pitbull that lived under the front porch...growling and barking at people when he felt they were a threat to the family. He never bit anyone though...you see, he doesn't have any teeth.

He was a pretty good dog. He started getting more aggressive as time went on though...wandering around the neighborhood dogging on all the girls...humping people's legs....chewing through all the leashes we put on him. We still loved him though, and it was out of this love that we decided to have him neutured. For his own good, you understand.

Ever since that day, he has had dillusions of being "the king". His pet pyschologist thinks its something like the Napolean syndrome...dillusions of grandeur to compensate for the loss of his male-doggie-hood. He has moments of reality seeping through his sub-concious though. Thus his reference to himself as "the mule"....a sterile half-breed.

We still love our doggie and sometimes we even let him sleep in the bed with us. We would cry if we ever had to shoot him.

He is still purdy darn good at chasin rabbits too.

See what you'll miss CC? The onliest reason I stay here is because of Georgia and that ball of fuzz she's stuck with. Like it, I head for the past now and then too. We old farts tend to do that more and more of late. Den must have about 400 floppies by now or something else. God he must be bored.

We are all born with knowledge....what a shame, that wisdom comes with age.

We are clusterheads !!! on medication.....

Of all the things I have learned here, one thing sticks in my mind a bit more than others. The "old timers" here on the board (not speaking so much of age..as time as members) are alot like shepherds. Shepherds tend their flock. It is a natural instinct.

When we become impatient, or pushey, or insistant on what we want, and if that offends even 1 of these shepherds...they kick in gear!!!!! Again, it's a natural instinct.

I am not defending jonny....and I do not mean to criticize you. But if you go back and read your posts, it does have an appearance of someone quite short on patience. We all have a habit of saying things that may tend to hurt others.

jonny was defending "family", and I know that when it comes to "family", we are not as concerned about what we say, as we are getting the point across. If you have a family, or children then surely you have at some point and time said things that were not perfectly acceptable to all. I know that I have.

Take things with a grain of salt.......not everything is meant to take literally. We tend to be stressed enough already with CH.....but I think it would take a helluva lot more than jonny's invitation to force me to quit. When you get to be my age, and retired, there's alot of things that just don't bother us anymore.

So, if you ain't gonna row...then get outta the boat!!!! But....jonny is right.......there is no place else to go. And it takes all of us, with oar in hand, to move this boat.
