Only one I know is the Reno one because it's so old. It's farther west.

"Last Time I Saw Paris" is too old for this kind of thing I suppose?

Knew I liked you Jacks.... :)

2.  Ricky Schroeder (not sure that's spelled right) was the son of Tommy Lee Jones.

Robert Duvall used his saddle as a fort.

Great Westerns......hmmmm.....
actually, in my mind, it's a tie.........

         HOW THE WEST WAS WON

                          and

                 BLAZING SADDLES

Good challenge, Gene.......think I'll fly to LA, then drive to Reno......when I'm done in Reno, I'll drive back to LA, and see which way the compass is pointing......I hereby
volunteer, cheerfully, to verify that info for everyone.....
Leaving now.......anybody got some quarters? HeeHeeHee!

I don't think Kevin Costner was completely cut out of the movie.  If I'm not mistaken isn't he the dead body at the beginning of the movie?  The reason why the "friends" all got together in the first place?  Just checking.

I didn't know the answer to any of the other questions...and have never seen Lonesome Dove or been to Reno or LA!  I'm just a really really young (cough cough) Canuck! LOL

Yeah Kevin Costner, yeah Ricky Schroeder, Yeah he used his saddle for a fort but what i was looking for is that when running from the indians in completely flat land he stopped running jumped off his horse grabbed his big Bowie knife and buried it into the horses throat,

now the dead horse was his fort/
