Title: Re: NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED Post by Carla_Comiter on Sep 18th, 2003, 9:33pm Yo Andy, I like the way you think! Gene, the hardest things I have walked thru ended up bringing the greatest gifts. Regardless of your company's reaction, you'll come out OK. Just remember that everyone bends the rules sometimes. It's just awkward when we're caught. ::) Carla |

Title: Re: NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED Post by goaway on Sep 19th, 2003, 7:06am Hey Gene, Wasn't that you I saw handing out company brochures the other day near the post office? All of us were soooo impressed that your company had employees who, on their day off, were willing to extol the company's virtues to total strangers. ;) |

Title: Re: NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED Post by ebk3 on Sep 19th, 2003, 4:32pm Hey guys, thanks for the support, Firstly what I meant by no good deed goes unpunished had nothing to to do with my trip to the post office. It had to do with the fact that since I lived near the customer( who had purchased a car from a salesman who had quit, someone had to deliver her her car and pick up her loaner). I had volunteered the night before but the lady wasn't available. The next day she was but I had the next two days off. The GSM said hell with it drive the loaner on your 2 days off and bring it back Thur. "just don't wreck it". This is against policy but who would have thought? Problem exists that the hit and run driver (who witnesses got the plate number, is obviously uninsured meaning my co ins is on the line. In the car business the owners would rather you eat their offspring than cost them money. All is not lost yet, I;ve recd supportive e-mails from the principals,Glad you're ok etc, but they are pretty slick with their agendas. I wrote a strong e-mail stating that I had done nothing wrong and needed assurance from them that they were 100 percent behind me before I returned to work, any bullshit I smell I engage an attorney. The owner made they quit rideing around in it after they hit a few more things...coolers ect. I am absoultely SICK over it....didn't notice it till Monday either. My car is new and is a lease.......it's a basketball sized dent we popped out somewhat but it is still there VIVIDLY and I am gonna have ta PAY for it when I turn it in plus it looks AWEFUL ! Nothin I can do about it now.....at least you have options....good luck and hope it all turns out for ya ! Pam that had ta bring it up since on the car wreck subject and I'm still HOT about it :'( |
