Good question! Never thought of that. Hard to imagine somebody being able to make it famous with these horrible things!! We should actually be the famous ones for putting up with such intense pain each and every day!

Agreed....

I nominate every single sufferer for an oscar for best leading actor or actress and one as well to the supporters for a best supporting role..........but really, are there any celebrity sufferers? Hell ,how about celebrity supporters for that matter.........Anyone?

I was just wondering that last night, wow, I bet if someone famous had these things it would get a lot more attention, and that's what we need. We need the world to know about these then maybe they would fix this problem as I know they can but just don't want to or have the time or funding to.

Poe? No kidding. I had no idea.....

It's like the Rock Hudson thing. It sped up things, at least recognition of that horror anyway.

It wouldn't surprise me if someone we know has had CH. Beats me why it's been kept a secret. These people aren't necessarily bright bulbs of course >:(

I would'nt say famous by any means, but if there are any bluegrass fans here you might have heard of the "Country Gentlemen"
I play banjo with them from time to time.
I've toured and recorded with Frank Wakefield and Buzz Busby.
I was on the Howard Stern show once playing banjo while he made fun of my people. (If you've ever watched or listened to his show you know what I mean) but what the hell, they offered me $1,200.00. You can laugh away at me for an hour for that kind of bread. ;D

And btw, yes I have had attacks while on stage. It really freaking sucks when that happens. The bands I play with know about it and cover for me. I just pretend I broke a string or something. I seem to have enough time to leave the stage and go and hide.

I was famous once...

Had 3 #1 best seller novels, one of which is a fictional account of a clusterhead called "Snapped"
I played lead guitar and was the singer for a psychotic band my niece couldn't stand...
everything was going great for me then...
FUCK!!!!! I woke up with a fucking cluster headache and realized it had all been a dream.

Well, kinda - I'm a star in my niece's eyes, and ya know what? That means more to me than the whole world.

There is still a chance that some people will buy my crummy book when it comes out... and my band Act of God may do something in the music biz...already got a good local buzz going and the local radio waiting for the "Dope Sick Girl" single. Even if none of that comes to total fruitition: The goal is enough to keep me alive and fighting this m*th*rf**k**g beast every day HEAD-ON (pun intended)
lol - come to OUCHFest in December and hear our sweet little opening ballad called "Arrival"...it was left out of the re-release of Mary Poppins...

Several years ago there was a famous football player who had to be taken out of the game because of "A HEADACHE"

Everyone here thought it was a cluster due to the symtoms.

heard a stat once that, a running-back absorbs the impact of a 1969 chevy car falling from a two story height, every time he hits the line of scrimmage..........I used to think THAT sounded painfull......
