OK all, to those of you who are SERIOUS about this, I have selected the ship and date below. This is December of 2004 and can be had for about $20.00 per month. Yes, it is seven days but why not? If you are planning this far in advance, you might as well make the best of it.

Jmin, does this include air fare to Miami do you know?

I am not sure I can swing a 7 day cruise :(

Did you look into the 3night 4 day cruises at all?

No airfair but Miami is normally 200.00 or less.

I will check into the 3 to 4 day, perhaps from New Orleans to mexico.

If the decision is made for the cruse to leave out of New Orleans…

I work for a wonderful little hotel in the French Quarter 5 min. away from the boat docks. I work in the reservations department and have pull to get a good rate. It will require a signed contract with one night’s prepayment in advance.

That rocks. THose who could only spare a few days could "cruise only". Those with more time to spare could spend a couple of days stumbling around the french quarter.

WIll look into more on Friday.

Me too Catnip those of us with kids cant just hi tail outa here... I might want to do one of those 3-4 day ones though and airfare would be cool too... ree
