Title: Long day here Post by Carl_D on Sep 13th, 2003, 11:00pm Had a long hard day today. Had band rehearsal all day, and working out a couple of new songs. Been shadowing mega hard, and was grabbing my head in between songs tonight, sweating worse that Eddie Murphy at a Klan rally. The fricken Tramadol helps with general headpain, but doesn't do jackshit for clusters (what does?) I have a question regarding Imitrex. Does anyone feel queasy or sick to thier stomache after taking it? I had to take a shot upon awakening today, and have felt like I am gonna puke ever since. Today is the first time I have felt like this. I can also tell the weather is changing because my jaws are fricken hurting. Gonna take it easy the rest of the evening and just surf online or watch a movie or maybe work on the music to yet another song. Peace, Carl D |

Title: Re: Long day here Post by UnsolvedEquation on Sep 13th, 2003, 11:11pm Sorry your feeling like shit. I know the feeling. I went to the ER myself tonight but after waiting awhile, I decided to go ahead with my 5th injection of the day. I've only had Imitrex make me sick one time after my 8th shot of the day. I puked my head off for the first time during a CH. Hope you get to feeling better UnsolvedEquation |

Title: Re: Long day here Post by OneEyeBlind on Sep 13th, 2003, 11:34pm It only made me quesy and kind of funny feeling if I shot up without having it be a full blown cluster. Found that if I was up and caught the headache early ... do the O2, otherwise, in the middle of the night ...... do the Imitrex. Bag the in-between .. and just live with it. Just my experience. Oh yea, I aways did a full shot of Imitrex, this might not have been the case if I did a partial shot. |

Title: Re: Long day here Post by Georgia on Sep 13th, 2003, 11:59pm Imitrex makes me sick to my stomach everytime I take it. It doesn't always make me vomit, but most often it does. Plus, I feel VERY drugged...and feel as though someone is sitting on my chest, choking me with their hands on my throat, to the point where I feel like I can't breath...have to pee extremely often...my skin hurts... and I feel dizzy. All this and it sometimes helps my CH. Better than nothin I suppose. Sorry you had a hard day. I hope you were able to relax a little tonight. PF (puke free) vibes coming your way. Peace and love, Georgia PS - I need to ask you some guitar questions sometime...come onto AIM next time you can. (You were right, my fingers feel better by the way!) |
