Title: Vibes for 9erFan Post by SFChris on Sep 10th, 2003, 3:24pm All, Please send positive vibes to our friend Virginia (9erfan). Although she has landed a job at a supportive company (see her post), what she didn't tell you is that she has been getting hit pretty hard lately. She just left my office (I work about a mile from her home) to pick up some extra imitrex that I had from my last cycle. She had the look of someone who hasn't had any sleep, and had the tell-tale eye droop that we all know too well...it brought back very painful memories of myself last year. So, can I get a "fuckin-eh" for Virginia to let her know we are all here for her? Thanks, Chris |

I'm always overwhelmed by the support here. Thank you for the vibes & prayers. Unfortunately, it seems that the Imitrex nasal spray doesn't work for me. I think it may be because I have year-round allergies so my nose is always stuffed up so the medication can't get to where it's suppose to. But it was worth it just to see SFChris yesterday and get a big hug from someone who understands what I'm going through! Poor Chris had to see me without makeup yesterday (I know I scared him! ;D). I had a pretty bad afternoon yesterday (took 1/2 day off work) but last night wasn't so bad. And this morning it feels like at least the shadows are subsiding. I don't see a neuro until Sept 26, but I am seeing my GP today and will see if she can hook me up with scrip for oxygen at least. I'm not sure how much she knows about clusters, but I printed off some info for her. Thanks again, your thoughts & prayers mean the world to me. V. |
