i was wondering if there are more sufferers that do NOT have these symptoms, cause with my hits i easily use a full box of cleenex...

No, I don't have that either. It usually amounts to one little tear that gets squeezed out.

Remember that diabetics and people who had hysterectomy, or past menopauze will often have less tear fluid, and a shrinking mucus layer.

95% of the time, yes.  There have been some times where I've not had this symptom.

Most of the time my it'll start with a single sneeze then my left nostril will run and my left eye droops and tears up. When that happens it's usually "showtime"

My right eye gets really tight - droopy. A little tearing, but not much.

I always have more running mucous during the cycle(geez!) but not anymore noticeable during an attack.

An occasional weeping eye.  Nose gets plugged on the right side.

My eyelid droops a bit and I get a stuffed-up or blocked nose on one side.  Generally no tearing, although at times my eye will burn like I got pepper (or for those familiar with New Mexico, like some hot Hatch chile) in it.  This burning usually preceeds an attack.

 The nose rarely is runny but always blocked or stuffy and the right eye runs like a deere.

My wife can tell how bad of an attack it was by how big of a pile of snot and tear soaked tissues I build in front of myself.

-Most of the time my left nostril plugs up big time.  No running of the nose, but interestingly, my left eye does run, or seep.

(note:  when I get a normal cold, my nose never runs; it's always plugged up and I'm all stuffed up).

Hot poker in the eyeball - tearing always - sometimes like a faucet.  Nostril on affected side plugs up AND runs like a faucet - don't ask me how that happens, but it does.  Every single time.

For the first five years no nothing.  Then now that I am on methadone and not having any headaches I am noticing I am getting the running eye and snotty nose and no headache.  But it is definetly occurring at the same time every day.  Must be my headaches wanting to break through or I am having those painless ha that we read about awhile back.

My nose doesn't run, but gets stuffed up.  Always have sinus problems, but it gets a little worse when I'm in cycle.  As for the eye, it tears some, but not much - I use just a few tissues.

Right sided attacks.

Right nostril ALWAYS plugged, doesn't run.
Right eye varys from a small amount of tearing to river flowing...

Eye always teared up and sometimes ran.  I used to sniff a lot too.

Eye twitches
Complete blockage of left nose
Eye burns like a fire
Explosive pain starts
Eye gets a little weepy (rather impressive considering my chronically dry eyes)
Nose still blocked but starts dripping
Toward end of attack, sharp shooting pains start

Then, praise Wotan, it all ends until next time (except for the twitching which usually persists).

Yep...me too...every time. Like a sugar tree! Tremendous sinus pressue and huge amounts of fluid, like having a garden hose..no a fire hose stuck up my nose into the deepest part of my brain..OUCH!

Hey Cooked!

I will get the whole burning eye thing, but no tearing.  My nose also gets completely stuffed on my cluster side.  When it starts to clear up, the headache starts to ease up.

My right sinus clogs but doesnt run. My right eye weeps so bad i'll wake up in the morning and the eyelids will be stuck together!

I can usually tell the severity of an atttack by the intensity of the nostril.

Mild attack- dry and stuffed, irritated and constantnose blowing

Severe Attack -runs like a tap ( fawcett for non Aussies)(not sure on spelling of fawcett, as in Farah Fawcett)

Much like checking the ferocity of a jalepeno

I get a little teary, but my nose gets plugged up, maybe 1% of the time it will run...this is such a gross thing to talk about.  I think its great how comfortable we feel talking (typing) with each other... ;)

It really depends on the severity of the attack.  I haven't had a really, really bad one in quite a while, at least not during this cycle.  I do remember that during the really harsh ones, my nose would get stuffed and my eyes would tear a lot.  Most of the tears were because of the pain though.

My plugged nostil begins "crackling" when the CH lets up and as my nose begins to unplug.

Right eye goes red and tear profusely as does the right nostril - every time.

When I get a migraine the eyes and nose stay dry. Imigran inj fixes both sorts of HA.

My symptoms exactly, but it sometimes happens to the left side, and, on a couple of horrendous attacks, on both sides at the same time.
The variation seems confusing  -  can anybody make sense of it?

My CH is always on my right side, my right eye drips and twitchs, my right nostril drips, and when the attacks are bad I vomit allot!

I am on sansert, but these symptons come through sometimes, although there is only mild pain.

On an 8 or better I get those symptoms.  Recently though, I have had runny eye with no hit...still right side too...wierd.   ::)

My nose gets stopped up on the affected side. If there is any tearing, it's because the pain is so intense...I've broke down and cried (probably contemplating suicide)  :'(

Some tearing, but not a whole lot.  
Stuffy or runny nose?  Occaisionally.

Always on the left side. (But I'm rather conservative, for the most part!  ;D  )

My eye tears on the affected side...i have switched sides several times now...and my nose stops up and that side..when the pain breaks, the nose runs....and boy, does the snot come then..sorry, did not mean to gross you out...smiles,nancyc
