Late afternoon, bright and sunny, you look in the sky and see this (http://www.heraldstandard.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=10132806&BRD=2280&PAG=461&dept_id=480247&rfi=6) 500 feet above your head. Now consider that it's just 3 days 'til the 2 year anniversary of 9/11... Only a short drive from Shanksville, PA... What would you think?

I'd prolly turn white and FREAK......then faint ! We have miltary cargo planes fly jus over our house deep down in the valley here......there supposidly practiceing under radar......I'll tell ya what I get the WILLIES every time they go over ! Sumtimes there's as many as three of em and so low you can smell the fuel and the house shakes !!! All the animals get stone cold quiet and hide. These are HUGE planes....I can even see the guys in the cockpit there so low. Pam that gets scared alot by the site and smell of them all up in the sky

Now as an aside.

Did you run out of adjectives and verbs to the newcomers Dark? I miss them.

This plane was so low, and so close, that it messed up the TV signal for more than 5 secs. It was going low and slow. I heard the whine of the jet engine, but figured it couldn't possibly be what it sounds like. What I want to know is... Why isn't there more about this in the news? None of the TV news has picked up on the story, and only the one local paper had anything about it. Very strange indeed.

Scary stuff. And weird that it hasn't been on the news. Someone squelching the story perhaps. Gotta love it when we aren't told what is really going on.

Glad to hear we might soon again be hearing those lovely welcomes. Miss ya !!!!!!
