Title: All I use is welding 02???
Post by Tiannia on Sep 8th, 2003, 4:23pm
How does this work Jonny?  My hubby is construction and it would make him feel better to think that he could help in any way.

I am at a stand still right now as myinsurance is going to change Oct 1st and getting a referral to a nero will have to start all over again once it does.  So anything that would help would be great.

Jonny will give you specifics but 02 is 02 no matter the package. The fancier the package the harder they make it to get.

More to come.

Hi,

Charlies right, medical 02 and welding 02 come from the same main tank...the only diff is that the medical tanks are inspected every year. tons of paper work thats why you need a script.

welding 02 along with a water bubbler is just as good and cheaper, a water bubbler is the same thing as a pot bong....the 02 goes through water before it gets to the mask. two things are accomplished ...one, it adds moisture so that the 02 is not so harsh on your throat and two, it catches any impurities that might be in the tank.

Remember one thing...a cutting torch will not work unless it has 100% 02 with no impurities, ive been sucking it for years.

E-mail me if you need more info.

Cool Thank you all for your assistance.

I have my MRI tomorrow morning and a follow up with the doc on Wed.  To be honest I am more scared that they will FIND something with the MRI then the headaches right now.  But at least I did get to talk to the doc and not her stupid nurses and we are finally going to discuss proventative and maintanace and not just the what the hell do I do when it gets REALLY bad.

Hi Tianna.....

I was a bit apprehensive about the MRI also.  However, my husband and I felt that it was the best.  I have been reading on this site for a year and 1/2.  I knew that I had CH, because of the info acquired here.

The tech that did my MRI was great.  He explained each and every thing that he was going to do. Told me minutes and seconds it would take for each picture. I was able to see him via a mirror, and he talked to me constantly (I am somewhat clostrophobic) and insured me that all was ok.

As I expected, the MRI showed no problems.

It was not a bad experience at all.........and gave me added peace of mind.

Hang in there........stay "kewl"

Hugs to ya.........all the way from Texas                ;)
