GRRRR I've got plenty of samples of Maxalt but I gotta fill the preventative and I really want to start that today! |

Title: Re: Insurance GRRRRR Post by Lori on Sep 5th, 2003, 1:14pm Depending on the preventative, maybe it's cheap enough you could afford to pay for it out of pocket? You might even be able to file that receipt later on for reimbursment. Call the pharmacy to see how much the script would be. Good luck. |

Title: Re: Insurance GRRRRR Post by Prense on Sep 6th, 2003, 10:07am Tara, is the Maxalt working for you? If so, is it the MLT and what dosage? I have a ton of the MLT and "normal" ones all 10mg, but they do notta for me. Maybe they can go to someone that can use them. Chris |

Title: Re: Insurance GRRRRR Post by taraann on Sep 6th, 2003, 11:45am Thank you so much for the offer Chris but so far I haven't noticed a significant help from the maxalt (10 mg tabs and quick dissolves)....the oncall doc the other night told my hubby that it might take afew doses for it to work...but the other day i had a day from hell with the ch's and took the max 6 doses ina 24 hr period and the most ive noticed is it takes a little longer for the ch to build up to its full force but I still end up with a close to 3 hr long ch......BTW how are you feeling...I know you were having a tough time with the docs a week or so ago if i remember correctly. |
