Hello everyone! I just recently found out about this site when I did a google site and I think its wonderful! I am 28 year old hispanic female and I've been getting a series of what I think are cluster headaches. Every morning I've been waking up with intense pain on my eyes, pain in the middle of my head and pressure and pain around my head (mostly pain and pressure on the sides I swear that i can feel the swelling and pain)
I saw my doctor yesterday and I was diagnosed with strep throat, aside from being able to keep anything down(I keep throwing up) my headaches are non stop I've tried everything, from ibprofin to tylenol to having a bit of caffeine! My doctor told me to see a neurologist and have tests done but Im at a new job and I dont have insurance until november! Has anyone experience these exact symptoms? I would appreciate it if you email me back cause I am very concerned my father recently passed away due to an brain aneurism. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!!! :'(

My dear, this does not sound like clusters - pain all round, no letting up for days, nausea...
Do the cluster quiz (you'll find it on the left).

But I bet you'll find it is something else, for which you should be very thankful. Clusrters is not what you need, believe you me.

Another thing, this is not usually the way one feels with an aneurism. So take heart and do what the doctor ordererd.

Thank you for the reply Ave! I will take the test that you suggested and I am planning to go to the doctor in November and get it checked out! My friend just suggested that my headache may be related to my jaw somehow dunno we'll soon shall see! ::)

Good job im not going to be welcoming you here cos your one of the lucky ones by the sounds of it who has headaches...of a different planet....

Good luck with the diagnosis though, and hope all goes okay..
