Hi everyone: got back from seeing the neurologist today he confirm it was c/h and asked why it took 5 years to see him? told him ask my doctor that lol. I was so ready to tell him off when he was going to brush me aside but it turns out he took me seriously. He has put me on methysergide 2 mg i thought i read it in medical info it should be 4 mg? and order a ct scan, but usally come back normal he said. Read about the drug but is anyone on this and did it work? you know even though they are still coming what a great feeling when someone believes you :). He to told me that the lenth of time spend in school on becoming a gp they only spend 1HOUR on all types of headaches >:( things need to change! and hopefully what you are doing will change things. it was because of this site i figured out what was wrong with me . thanks again. :-* o and can i keep posting here you really keep me afloat and maybe i can help someone someday?

Sounds like you are pleased with your visit. Glad to hear it. Yes, this site is where I found out all the info I needed to get treated properly. What a LIFESAVER!!!! I am forever greatful.

Small problem. Don't know if you've filled your script yet but methysergide is Sansert and they don't make it any more.

Bob i filled my prescription yesterday dont know if its because i am from canada they still prescribe it or what ?

Great that he put ypou on a preventative but what happens when you get hit?
