Had a little rain, but that didn't spoil any plans here. Also had time for dining out, and some shopping. And still remain pf, well wishes to all, EDNA |

The best part is I"m only 1.2 miles from my job now...instead of 28 miles. NO more 1-hour commute! It takes me 3 minutes now! What a relief! |

Title: Re: HOW WAS EVERYBODIES WEEK-END? Post by TomM on Sep 2nd, 2003, 3:51pm Saturday went to a co-workers (friend) brothers memorial service. Sad. :'( He was 32 but my friend is doing better. Sunday, got the engine in my friggin' boat running--finally. Monday, pulled the boat (26' cabin cruiser), scraped barnacles, and power washed the hull and bottom (man I ache today). Then I launched her and took her for a spin! Feels GREAT to be on the water again. Even had my dad along...it was great. Cost = 1.5 lbs of sweat. Ran around for a day & a half with the kids & wife & went fishing ... Cost for license = $13.00 Spent Sunday fishing in the pouring rain & packed up the tents while it was still pouring down rain .... Cost = wet clothes Filled the van up again and drove home .... Cost = $22.00 Spending the whole weekend on verapamil and completely headache free (coming up on a month of PF) while enjoying a great family and a fun (although wet) weekend ... PRICELESS! Title: Re: HOW WAS EVERYBODIES WEEK-END? Post by Charlie on Sep 2nd, 2003, 4:54pm It was a weekend to remember. Saturday, I re-attached a downspout, (easy: plastic) folded last week's laundry and chiseled out lime in the commode. After that hectic day, I relaxed and watched HBO. Saw "The Hackers," Don't bother. Spent a lot of time surfing and getting rid of stuff on my puter. On Suday, I watched the morning political Sabbath gasbags. After the fireworks that night, (which I can see from my kitichen window even in a drizzle) I settled down for the Gunsmoke marathon. Nothing like the holiday in Dodge City at The Longbranch with Festus. I had to rest up after that and take a break for 16 hours on Monday. Spend about 45 minutes on line and fell asleep in my recliner after reading all about the rebuilding of the parking ramp.........and here I am. Plumb exhausted. Hard to imagine a fuller weekend but worth a try. Charlie |

Title: Re: HOW WAS EVERYBODIES WEEK-END? Post by StanTheMan on Sep 2nd, 2003, 9:37pm Lesssseee.... Saturday I ran some errands, hung out with the kids, and did a couple of chores around the house. Enjoyed watching the RAIN COME DOWN!! We've been so dry for so long...what a beautiful sight! Sunday, family and I went to church. Had a nice lunch at home followed by a nice afternoon nap. Enjoyed some more time at home with my family and ran a couple more errands. Labor Day - I went to work! YEP!! But it's okay! I'm deferring my Labor Day holiday for when the baby comes. (I thought "Labor Day" was very appropriate for when I'm coaching Dana with childbirth! ;D ) There you have it! Have a great week everyone! StanTheMan |

Title: Re: HOW WAS EVERYBODIES WEEK-END? Post by cootie on Sep 3rd, 2003, 11:48am Busy....almost too busy.....but I like busy so guess busy was ok even tho I was busier then hell. Friday got new big tiger tribal tattoo on calve (pain theropy fer the back which worked fer a while)......went up to neighbors and drank and smoked while the guys worked on a custom bike. Sat. had a memeorial service for a friend and all rode out tagether then had a lunchan that followed. Rode home then got shit tagether ta head out to a old freinds hog roast we never found...so we headed onto the second one fer the evening. Rode home in fog. Sunday had company all day long non stop till after 10:00 pm. Monday relatives came over and 'rated us' as they always do and why I dread them comeing over. (bad habit of theres).....but it was a nice visit I think ? Spent spare time what there was of it all weekend workin on this crapp'd out piece of work. Aren't ya glad it let me get on here for a short while ta tell ya all this ! Pam that wants ta play jackass with this computer Glad ta hear lotta ya were PF.....also...nice boat Tom.....brings back old memories of when I was an avid boater with my parents every weekend...I miss it. Used to have to use that copper paint on the haul of the big boats that was lethal........ |

Title: Re: HOW WAS EVERYBODIES WEEK-END? Post by Smurf on Sep 3rd, 2003, 12:34pm Absolutely great weather here in WI. I didn't make it to the Harley festivities, but my hubby did. He took me for a short ride, however, on Monday to get me out of the frickin' house. Two back-to-backer's on Sunday morning. Week #7 starting today....I think it's winding down. |

Title: Re: HOW WAS EVERYBODIES WEEK-END? Post by Carl_D on Sep 3rd, 2003, 4:22pm Isn't it still the weekend? I'm confused. I have had about 10 hours sleep total since awaking Friday morn to the beast at 3:30am. Now I'm just too busy and my brain won't shut off. Anybody else suffering overactive brain? Sucks when you take hardcore sleep meds and hardly sleep. Almost like being drunk without alcohol. Imitrex works, Carl D |
