Finally got to meet Carl_D and An Act of God today.
Bad news I didn't get to hear them play but the good news is I plan on going back ;D...someday when they're all over the radio I'll be able to say, yeah I knew them back when...
It's always so cool to meet another clusterhead in person 'cause you know they're the only ones who really know what it's all about. Like Carl said, it's like meeting a fellow war veteran, you've both been somewhere you didn't wanna be. If you haven't met another clusterhead yet, why not? go do it now!
And ya'll should really try and make it to OUCHfest this fall and check out An Act of God etal. We'll raise a few bucks, raise awarenes and raise a glass or two ;D

That is what alll of us who have get-togethers, not to mention "THE CONVENTIONS" are all about.

So glad and happy for you. Wish I'd known you were going so I could ask you to give ol Carl a big hug from me.

Meeting Jim today, the only way I can describe it, I felt like somebody turned my amp up to 11!!!!!! You can ask my bandmates, I have been bouncing off the walls after meeting with Jim. Got me so excited I had to high five myself. Jim is absolutely right; when you are facing another clusterhead, man - it's a rush. These fuckers all around me in everyday life don't have a clue as to what I go through, but Jim does. He has been through the wringer too, like all of us.
I know Mike (Professor Farmer) got a clue last night when he walked in on me in mid-attack. All he could say is man, looks intense.
Like I told Jim, what a fate to be a musician, and have headaches....
We do have a protocol for what will happen if I go into a CH attack onstage. I am gonna get a beater guitar, and if I go into an attack, clear the stage, cuz I am gonna wail a fucking guitar solo unlike ever before, smash the fucker to bits, and then Kenny will have to do a drum solo until I am over the attack. Now THAT'S planning ahead.

The beast devastated my life to ruins twice...'93-'94, and '98-2000. Had to start over twice, and now that I am finally back to doing what I love and have everything going for me, there ain't no fucking way I am gonna go down again.

Oh, and Jim - Doc FINALLY got the studio machine running about 9:30 tonight, so we were screwed for today. Like I said though, we do this every weekend. Expect to see ya out here real soon bro.

AWESOME!!! I can't wait to meet someone from this mb someday too!

And Carl_D that's a great plan! You are a brave soul ;D and should be soooooo proud of yourself for not letting this thing screw up your life again!

... Hey Jim and Carl... I'll be passing through St. Louis on a weekly basis... southern St. Louis anyway...

Let me know when you guys wanna meet up... I'll be heading back from Poplar Bluff every friday around 5 or 6:00pm... and be in the area around 7:30 - 8:00 (I don't do anything less than 85mph :D)

... anyway.. figured we could get some brews, cause I usually take a pit stop there anyway...
