Ok ya'll. You win! I hate looking at the banners too, so they're gone! ;)

I've taken Jonny's suggestion and replaced them with a little PAYPAL button at the bottom of the message board. If you feel you need to use it, there it is. If you don't, don't. Either way, this site is not about making money and IS NOT in jeopardy of being taken down because of it.

With that being said...

BEFORE even thinking about clicking on the button at the bottom of the page, you MUST read and agree to each of the following statements:

I understand that DJ does not NEED, nor does he WANT my money, he has simply put the option here because so many people asked him to so we don't have to look at those damn banners!
I understand that DJ is NOT living in a cardboard box, and is NOT searching dumpsters behind the local fast food restaurants for his next meal
I do not have anything better for which the money I'm about to spend could be used (the mortgage, the rent, the phone bill, the children's college fund, toys for the kids, a much needed night out with my wife/husband - dinner and a movie maybe?)
I understand that all money donated will go to DJ simply to help cover some of his costs over the past years (and in the future) for keeping this site online. It will NOT be used to fund a multi million dollar study to try and find what effect talking to pink elephants all day on the telephone might have on cluster headaches
If I am the owner of a large drug manufacturing company that makes medication for cluster headache sufferers (Glaxo Wellcome, lets say), I agree to use the button (several times...daily...)
I agree that there is nothing else DJ could do or say, before I push the button below, to keep me from giving him my hard earned cash (if there were, I would email him and let him know)

Damned good thing you dumped the ads. I was ready to _walk_, since you were acting like our money wasn't GOOD enough for you, ya BHP.........then I remembered.......

DevCon03.......a big batch of us were having breakfast at the Tub-O-Grub......(coffee for me, 2nd go around, cursed be the luck)......asked for the bill......and to the amazement of all......the tab had been picked up by Baldy. Oooh's and ahhhhh's abounded, along with undying thanks.

Day 2....a bunch of us are back at Tub-O-Grub for breakfast. I grabbed the check and quietly tried to pay all $52 of it for 10 people, instead of richarding around with who bought what. Next thing heard is"Who the hell do you think you are....DJ?"
Seconds later, I'm flooded with $10's and $20's. Not only was the tab covered, but I ate for free and made $50!
Left me w/newfound respect for the BHP.
If nothing else......

I don't know, DJ....it was a close call between food or a donation. Then my kids said that my ass didn't need more food....so I went with the donation..... ;D

Its perfectly OK with me if you have banners. I rather enjoyed them. Golly gee I just can't think of anyplace else to go on this silly internet so it was nice having all those places just appear for me. Why, I never knew I could consolidate my debts and get dates with girls online. That is sooo cool. And I have DJ to thank for it.

Butt now I see that you have removed them. Shucks! Maybe you could put a button somewhere that allows us to turn them back on when we want neat stuff, and spyware cookies inserted onto our hard drives.

I hope those zippers on yer head don't hurt when you think hard.

I have a really stupid question(I'm not good with computers.)

- paypal,the screen needs some "secret" 3 digit number that should be on the back of my card. I see a 4 digit # followed by a 3 digit#, and I can't find the place on the form to put it anyway..

My 3 digit number was after the card number located on the signature strip on the back of my card (never knew that was there LOL), and I put it in the spot on the form right next to where it was asking for it. Hope that helps, Mark.

Lol, I have read the attached agreement clause and I gotta say......... I agree,but, I don't BELEIVE the first two for a second ;D.
