Title: Re: first a question Post by Cooked Brain on Aug 29th, 2003, 11:10am Hi there Joke, had a peak at your profile, I'm from Rotterdam! i have sometimes felt dizzy, I think because my bloodpressure drops during a hit and i make a lot of sudden moves. Never had ringing ears, but have had lightflashes and snowy image on my left eye before an attack. Congratulations on the marriage ;) Be well! |

Title: Re: first a question Post by Carla_Comiter on Aug 29th, 2003, 12:57pm I've had ringing ears this episode but think it's a reaction to the meds. I've also had flashes and floaters in my left eye, tho my CHs are on the right. I think it's all med reaction for me. Congrats on the nuptials! Carla |

Title: Re: first a question Post by Donna on Aug 29th, 2003, 3:29pm Hi Joke......I've been wondering about a lot lately. Nice to hear from you and with such wonderful news!! A lot of meds cause ringing in the ears. Aspirin did this to my mom as did some cardiac meds. Bright white floaters or a water, distorted image can be caused by migraines or sometimes a detatching retina. These should be mentioned to your docs, guys. I never did experience dizzyness or nausea with my headaches, but that's not to say that others don't. Stay in touch, Joke. Love to hear from you. |

Title: Re: first a question Post by ClusterChuck on Aug 29th, 2003, 7:16pm Oh no!!! Please don't tell me you have ringing in your ears!!! Do you really??? Well, I guess someone will have to break the bad news to you then, and seeing as everyone else is afraid to tell you the truth, I guess I am stuck being the bearer of bad news. There is a long and very complex set of neurological actions and reactions that are taking place here, that lead to a definative and inexcapable conclusion. Many years of research and testing have gone on to confirm the early indications. If I was to go back into my vast reference material, I could give you the full descriptive detail of each step in the lengthy process, but let me just simplify it, and put it into normal layman's language. It simply means that you are effin bonkers! Mad as a hatter! Totally luney tunes. A raving lunatic! Now other than the latter sentences in the previously viewed paragraph, most patients have been able to lead normal, productive lifstyles with only occasional lapse into babbling incoherency. Fortunately I have never personally heard the ringing in my ears, meaning that I am totally... (click) totally... (click) totally... (click) totally... (WHACK! on the side of the head) totally normal and sane... (click) sane... (click) sane... (click) sane... (WHACK WHACK) sane. My best advice is to ignore it, and joing the rest of the certified looneys here (except myself of course) and go on with your life! Congratulations on you upcoming nuptuals! Chuck Ps - Please ignore all of the above (except the one true statement, and that is the one directly above my name) and pretend you never read it as I have had too many battles with the beast lately and not enought sleep causing me to ramble on in silly nonsense! ha ha!! |
