Hi Guys,
I'm on the fund raising committee and plan on doing some auctions fairly soon.

I'd like some ideas on things people would like to see auctioned off. Does anyone want to donate items to auction off for OUCH?

Do you guys like the idea of 8X10 framed schenery pictures taken by Clusterheads? Would that be an item that you guys would bid on?

Here's an example of one type of schenery I'm talking about, we also have some beach scenes and some other things.

That's a really cool picture!! I would bid on that and other scenery pics... how about drawings showing what a cluster headache feels like? kind of like that scream picture, I swear that picture freaks me out I love it I would buy something like that in a heartbeat!

What or who is the market for these? Clusterheads? Where are they to be auctioned off? On one of our sites? This one or OUCH? These need to be answered in order to give a good answer.

I am not into photos as much as I am into paintings, but for OUCH, I would buy at least one.

edited to answer Chuck whilst I was posting.

I'm not entirely sure WHERE we are holding the auctions yet. It will either be here or on the OUCH site. We first need to find something to auction, then we outline it for the BoD to approve of. Then I'll let you know where the auctions are.
Don't worry, they won't be far away, and I will post here letting you know where they are.

I realize these boards are open to the public, but I was asking where to find out what the clientel would be. Auctioning them off on OUCH site would be a totally different crowd than, say in you local mall. See if Jonny can get on his friends butt to get that ashtray and anything else for the auction.

i have a cat that pees on my bed you can auction off for target practice........................ just depressed ``````````````>ree that said good bye to her best friend tonight and is looking at this screen through tears.....................

oh I know how that is. I had a friend named cheryl she lived next door to me we have been friends for over 20 years. We did everything together, raised kids together and saw each other have grandchildren. She moved a way and it sure has been lonely without her. You know what when we get together now even though its only maybe one time a year. We have the best Time. The letters and the little goodie packs we send each other through the year they are so much fun. You will see your friend again and boy the good time you two wil have. Think of that and start planing.

For your other problem the cat that pees on the bed. Wash your sheets and spread in Vinager number one it gets the smell out, second cats don't like that smell. Also spray your mattress with it. You won't smell the vinger smell but for a couple of days but the cat will smell it a lot longer. Also if you haven't taken her to a vet then do so she might have a health problem.

Come on guys help Michelle out here. Its for OUCH!! We could auction off anything. Computer stuff, a mouse, clip art, anything. Christmas is right around the corner. How about gift baskets of some kind? Anything!

I have your basket ready! Its what I call a ch.com computer basket. It's a wast basket for under the desk, in it is a throw blanket to keep warm, a thing of coffee coco, cups, tea, pop corn, pop corn Boxes plastice, OUCH deacal and OUCH bumper sticker and a OUCH 2003 NY canvas bag with a OUCH pin. There is also a set of computer speakers, and a mouse and mose pad. This basket is filled from top to bottom.
I will send a picture of it to you, Deveny will have to email it to you from her job Michelle and you can add this basket to you stuff for auction :-)!

I need someone from the O.U.C.H. fund raising comittee, a trustee, to contact me about a benefit we want to plan for late Nov/early December....
This idea was birthed today by my bandmates, and we think we can pull off a good show and fundraiser with 3 or 4 live bands/acts, and raffles, stuff like that.
