Imitrex injections....I take anywhere from 1 - 8 shots a day and each shot needs to be about 5 mg. How much do you require ?

i could usually give myself 3 mg to abort an attack. sounds like you are getting hit more frequently than me. i have never been hit more than four times a day. some people say 2 mg works for them, but i definitely needed at least 3mg. stuey

I have taken up to 80mg a day of imitrix nasal spray. I start off taking 5mg and then if that dosent work I take another 5 and if that doesn't work I take a 20mg but usually 5mg works by itself. So what I take varies between 40mg and 80mg.

25 mg Imitrex pill usually does the trick. :)
