Title: Thanks, Boss... Post by Hirvimaki on Aug 26th, 2003, 3:37pm I just wanted to relay some good news. My boss has been out of town at a conference. Yesterday he called and asked what kind of light bulbs we have in the office. I checked and told him they are the regular "bight white" bulbs. He told me that at one of his meetings they were talking about office safety and health and the speaker mentioned that full-specturm lighting is much better for you than the regual bight white, and specifically that they reduce the incidence of head aches. He told me perhaps having full-spectrum bulbs would help reduce the number of headaches I get. He then called - remember he is out of town at a conference - the building management and had them put full-specturm light bulbs in my office (My office has a soft glow now!). So, thank you, Boss! Whether they help cut down on my CH I do not know, but knowing that my boss cares about my well-being is a great thing. :) Just thought I'd share. Hope you are all PFDAN!! |
