*sigh* My Drs appt is in 35 mins. I am dreading going in there and having some balls. For a redhead Im not much of the typical bitch lol
I have spent the last 4 days on this site and OUCH researching and arming myself with knowledge so I can go in and state my case and get what I NEED ( O2 and Imitrex Injections instead of these pills they have me on)
I live in a small town and my Dr is not familiar with CH's
I called around and only one Dr in town is and the next Appt open is in Feb ( GASP )
Yeh Im just sitting here typing trying to get the nerve to go get into my car hehehe
And I just wanted to thank everyone of you that has helped me in the past week get all the information I need to go in and state my case to the Dr today!
Without this site I would have no clue where to begin and I appreciate you all more then I could ever put into words!!

Ok before my knees go weak Im going to go get this over with! * Crossing Fingers *

Hope the appt went well Jen.
If your doc isn't real familiar w/CH's then by all means show him info. from this website and get him educated.
Maybe you could even invite him to log in and take a look around.

Jen i know how u feel new here too! and yes these CLUSTER HEADS LOL no there stuff. like u i am usally not a bitch ;D but u do have to bring your information to the doc. because like u i am from a small town in ontario and we are so behind times C/H that seems to be a new word to them. told my doctor that the imitrex pill is taking tooooo long to work 1hour and half before it gos away and he change the subject "HELLO" stand your ground girl tari

I do feel for you I went through exactly the same thing after the past 2 days in the hosptial I finally convinced my doc to try the O2 and imitrex injections and am doing pretty well . Just keep at it I know it takes foever to convince most doc's what this really is and how to deal with it. I'm still working with them on the prevenitive part not sure where that is going yet . Hope your visit turns out well. Take care.
