Well, today i was finally diagnosed with cluster head aches after about 18 months of sheer agony, after reading all your messages i have found some comfort in knowing im not the only one and for this i thank you all.

Tomorrow i will be starting my new treatment, and hopefully i find some peace and get a full nights sleep ;D

Welcome to the board big R.....
Grab an oar and start rowing. Let us know your course of treatment. I suggest you read up as much as possible and maybe print some stuff to take to your Doc.

We keep growing don't we. There must be lots more of us out there who don't know what's happening to them. Glad you found out what was happening. I couldn't believe it when I found this site. I felt so isolated before and now it's like I got an extended family. Hope you find the right treatment to get yours under control soon. Peace. Stuey

Well medication, wish i had it at 1:30am this morning JESUS!!!!

Any way here we go-

RANITIDINE- 1 twice a day
VERAPAMIL (240MG) 1 twice a day
VERAPAMIL (80MG) 1 three times a day
PREDNISOLONE (5MG) 12 each day for 5 days, then reduce by 2 tablets each day. ::)

I,M GOING TO BLOODY RATTLE AS I WALK!!!! ;D

Welcome to the board !!!!!!! Hopefully that combo plate will bring your cycle to an early end. Get some O2 and Imitrex injections to help abort any headaches you have while waiting for the prednisone to kick in !!!!!!!!!!!!
