A couple of you. Forgetfulnot Lee, you had a post talking about the first black man on this board. I am STILL curious where you were going with that since Cerebus was about the 50th here. You said you'd explain later and I'm just wondering what that was all about. If you get the time please explain what that post was all about.
Jonny. You talk about all the years being chronic all the time but can you tell us how it feels realizing that you were actually episodic that whole time with the new definition of chronic? I bet it strikes a chord of understanding that people really have had it worse.

The new definbition for chronic is basically the same as the old except that it doesn't matter if you are taking meds or not.

If you cant put together 2 consecutive weeks of pain free time in the course of 1 year....your chronic.

Actually Don that's not quite correct.  As I reported in the convention report (which you can find and read on OUCH), the IHS reclassified chronic this year, as 1 year without 30 consecutive days pain free, with or without meds.
