Title: Do you yawn ?
Post by UnsolvedEquation on Aug 24th, 2003, 9:32pm
Every single time I feel the beast coming I scramble for my Imitrex injections. I can tell within the first minute if it's going to be a bad one. When the beast has finally left ... I yawn ... everytime. Now I think of it as a sign that it is finally over, for now. Does anyone else yawn when it's over ?
> I don't feel sleepy, but I yawn everytime. <
~ Just wonderin' ~

Yes, I do that too after the few bad attacks where my 02 don't work - could it be because we need the extra oxygen ?  ???

:)

I'm on a medication that one of the side effects is actually yawning!!  So I yawn ALL the dang time.  I'm going to pay attention tonight when I get hit.  I had a HA this morning about 5:00 am and I can't recall yawning afterwards...but I'll let you know UE!!

If yawning is the result of lack of oxygen to the brain then why do you need to yawn when you witness someone else yawn?

Does watching someone yawn cause oxygen deficiency?
If so, then watching someone yawn is a CH Trigger !

Thats IT! From now on I'm not getting up till after noon time. To many people yawning before that trying to trigger my CH.  BASTARDS!

HMMMMM?

I believe my psychology teacher said that when you witness someone else yawn, it causes your brain to release a chemical... in turn...making you yawn  ???

I don't remember if I yawned when getting hit. Must have though. It certainly has something to do with O2

Must be why my brain isn't working most of the time.
