Hi, Bob again.
I am so happy! I wish I was smart enough to put some of those very funny, and happy or dancing cartoon characters on this! Chuck is doing excellent! After talking with a lot of people at the hospital, I finally got permission to go see him.
They found out what the problem was. Over 1 year ago he had to have, I think they call it a stint, put into one of his veins or arteries right next to his heart. I am not real sure of the terminology here. There was a blockage that had to be removed, and then this stint thing was put in to keep it open. Come to find out, he developed a problem with it, and then an infection developed. He was told that it is rare that it happens the way that it did with him. I do not know all the terms and things to describe it. Leave it to Chuck to have another rare medical problem! They are now saying that he did not have a heart attack the first day he was in. It is all related to the problems that this stint was causing. It was somehow skewing their test results. He is going to be fine! They discovered the real problem this morning and have been working on fixing it all day. He looks so much better. Except for all the tubes and wires they have in him, he almost looks normal. I cannot believe the drastic change in him. His speech is back to almost normal, he can see properly again, and he does not have the overall run down feeling anymore. He actually has some good color to his face. He even cussed at me for traveling so far to see him! Then he yelled at me not to turn gay and try to kiss him! I wanted to, I was so happy! What a cut-up! He was also cussing because he wanted a cigarette so bad. That is one of the surest signs that he is doing a lot better!
I cannot tell you how happy I am. I want to dance and sing! I could not wait to get back to town (he is about an hour away) and tell you fine folks the good news.

They are going to keep him in the intensive care unit tonight, but then they will probably move him back to a regular room tomorrow. They said if he continues his positive recovery and as soon as they get the headaches stopped, or at least lessened, they will release him.
One of you, I think it was Georgia, asked for his phone number. He is not at Pitt Community. I have the phone number at home, and I will bring it with me the next time I come to Chuck’s house and send it out to you. I want to finish this off, send it, and then head home, as I have not even had the chance to tell my wife yet.
I am so excited!

Oh I am just so relieved and thrilled that he's going to be ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just AWESOME!!!!! Thank you again Bob for all the updates....stick around if you like, your always welcome here!

When you speak to him again could you please tell him I said, I can't wait to see him back here healthy and headache free and that he is still in my thoughts and prayers and he still has all the vibes I got until I see him posting here again!

You don't know how stupid I feel right now!

Several things: I was in intensive care? Bob was there? I had trouble with my heart again?

Color me dumbfounded! DUH!

I don't remember any of this! But I just checked, and yes there is a lump where they went into fix the stent, just like last time. This blows me away!

I think I need to talk to my Doctors and find out what the hell happened there!
