My puter is hooked to the fax machine. When I'm online I dont recieve faxes. How can I rig this so if a fax is sent the puter will get bumped offline and I'll recieve the fax?

Don,

Use efax. They have a free service that allows you to recieve your faxes via email. They assign you a real phone number that you give people for faxing, and the faxes are routed to your email. Solves your problem quite well.
They have a not-free service as well, but if you can handle having a fax number that isn't local, the free one works great. The one you pay for lets you choose the fax phone number frm a list.

Use a fax software package that has MOH. You need call waiting to use it.
Or get another line put in ya cheap plick.
Oh wait, do you mean to say that you're actually using a Fax machine? A real honest to God fax machine? If so why.

Its my work fax and puter. How does anybody expect me to fuck around on line if they keep sending me faxes.

Lets see run the phone line to your modem then one to the fax machine. Install a communications program with fax that supports modem on hold (MOH). That way a fax comes in is dumped in a file called Faxes or Fucking Faxes, whatever. A little icon on your tool bar will flash whenever one arrives. You can then view or print the fax at your liesure. Like when you and jonny arn't busy looking at porn online together.
I think Smith Micro might have something like that. Stop looking at porn and go find it. Ya pervert.
