Title: Words do hurt
Post by OneEyeBlind on Aug 21st, 2003, 10:39pm
Well, lots of crap going on again, and quite frankly, I just want to stay out of it.  Right, wrong or indifferent WORDS DO HURT.  While we all try to "take what we need and leave the rest", it's really hard.  I just spent the most glorious 7 days with some of the neatest people I will probably ever meet.  They were supporters and cluster sufferers.  I didn't look at the supporters any differently than I looked at the sufferers.  They were all friends.  They all just wanted to get together and share.  We talked about "clusters" but we also talked about "life".  And quite frankly, I appreciated that each and every one of them shared a piece of themselves with me.  I hope each and every one of you get the chance to meet a fellow sufferer or supporter.  It's an exeperience that you will never forget.

NOW ............... ANYONE WANNA BUY A PIG ????????????????

Ech were all in the same boat here one way 'r the other....sum of us get the pain and sum of us witness it. I always end up more tramatized then Brad is when it's all over but I'd "NEVER" compare who hurts the worst. Pam that's as bold as I am cuz I am

Hi Nancy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

How true, my mrs put up with some sh*t when this all started, not knowing to leave well alone, she used to try talking to me, bad mistake(as i'm sure you all know, best thing is to leave a sufferer well alone)i wasn't too bad, just short with her, enough to upset her, now she knows the score it is not so bad, but she suffers in many other ways, seeing me in pain, unable to help, having to worry because i couldn't work for months(no money),   not sure whether i would rather be a sufferer or supporter(neither comes to mind), would be a tough choice.

;D ;D now, how much for the pig? is it pot bellied or normal,(mrs birthday soon)

Nan is sooooo right......spend a week in the company of purely wonderful people- see how it really fills your heart-then, one by one, watch them as they head for home.......knowing their joy, and knowing their pain, and knowing when to say " I am here-please just reach out".
Still laughing till the tears run, I must rejoin the real world now......Camp is over for this year....BUT-

YAWANNNAA BUY A PIGGG????? :-*

Cathi- who can never understand why people can be so cruel to each other........but still smiling in MY world. ;D

That Nancy is what happens at CH conventions just on a larger scale, the larger scale makes it tough to hang out with everyone as long as you want to and it makes the convention blues even worse. But thats the only down side....just ask Cootie ;D

Nice post, Nancy

Charlie, to put you out of your misery.....

I was at a wedding reception, there were a lot of people there and I told a joke....remember it was quiet in the room at the time....

'How do you ask a deaf farmer if he wants to buy a pig...?'

DO YA WANNA BUY A PIG...??

ROFLMAO....maybe you had to be there..but when you say it you have to say it loud....lmao.. ;D  Lets just say we said it loud on a lot of occasions and each time it had me in tears...but then I am only 4...... ::)

WANNA BUY A PIG ???????????  And the laughs would start all over again !!!!!!!!!!!  Even had my hubby doing it ...... and he is SANE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah Nan,

Life is short, I really believe we need to take each day with a big smile.  Thats all I did for a week just being with the most wonderful people, it most certainly is a small world.  This gal will never forget our first meeting, there are no words how I felt.

Now, hmmmmm, this pig thing.  Yes can I buy a pig or can I trade in my red shoes for one. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

Love and kindness brings bliss, Sunny days to all.

Kimmy's feet, oh my, BOO!!!

Hugs,
Cindra

Probably because we are both Brits and we both tick you off when you are a bad boy. :-*

But I must put the record straight here, I'M the one that talks proper, she talks slang.  ;D

W the B

P.S. Cathy did my feet for me when I visited her in Cambridgeshire but she had left her glasses at work and couldn't bloody see, so I now have four toes on one foot.
