I was just wondering what others thaught would be a bad time to get hit.
In Febuary 2002 I was in mid cycle and my wife was due to go into labour to have our first kid. Well one night she wakes me up at around 4:30 am an tells me her water has broken etc. I jumped outta bed an grabed our hospital bag and rushed her out of the house. I rushed back in and grabed my keys an off we went. Well we checked in to the hospital and they hooked her up and the doc came around to examin her. "Unhook these monitors, the babies crowning" says the doc and we rush to the delivery room. Boy if I told you I was getting excited I'm sure you can understand why. So the babys crowning, my wife is pushing and I'm there right beside her, motivating her, reminding her to breath, and shouting puuuush every now and then, when all of a sudden ... BAM kip 8 in less then 2 minutes.
I had forgotten my trex and was flumoxed as to what to do. Rush head first into the wall, run down the corridor screaming or hang in there with my wife and ride the beast like a bronco? He he in the end I just grabbed the O2 on the wall and cranked it all the way up. By the time the beast pushed off I was a FATHER and sitting in a chair with my boy in my arms, and for one brief moment my CH seemed small and incosequential. I'll never forget that moment. It was the happiest I have ever been in my life!

Badfly: That's terrible! :( Here's one of my stories. It's not nearly as bad as yours though.....

I got hell hit in the store with a full cart of groceries. Left my cart in the aisle, grabbed my head, and practically crawled to my car. It was horrible and extremely embarrassing.

Got hit with a kip 8-9 while sitting at the table during my after wedding dinner. At that time I didn't know it was clusters and had no meds.

stuck in a traffic jam on the M25,hot summer,rush hour,no meds,had'nt been diagnosed,getting very weird looks from other drivers

after living in germany 11 years coming home an a cycle started the night of my welcome home party with all the family went to kip 9 in about 30 secs flat i hadn't even heard of imitrex then :(family never even knew i got them
after the ha was gone then had to explain what was going on
certainly screwed up the evening

...trapped in an airplane with no meds. (Before 9/11, so I didn't attract nearly as much attention as I could have)

I am wit chou Brad. A plane is the worst.

Worst time for a cycle was during Mardi Gras. Only Febuary cycle and I had a roudy old friend from earlier crazy days (really crazy) in town. I attempted to keep up but it was not possible. He thought I had a brain tumor.

I can relate to that one --- a few years ago I had one during a 2 hour "contractor evaluation meeting" --- needless to say the meeting was cut short (as was the contract) ::)

I clean homes for a living. Two weeks ago I was cleaning one of my mansion homes when I got hit with a kip 9, my meds were no longer working (i think I became immuned) and the husband was at home, I felt embarrassed to say anything to him about my suffering and I worked through it, the funny thing is I had my 10 year old daugher with me and she had to do most of the work, every once in a while the husband would come and say something to me and I would just nod and try to act normal, meanwhile my face was as white as a ghost and I was sweating profusely, and shaking to boot, I was just paralyzed with pain, even though I was trying my best to hold on, every once in a while I would start crying and tell her I couldn't take it anymore and the "why me" thing, I feel sorry for her because she has no idea what to do for me, all she sees is her mom is in so much pain, oh well, rather me than her!!!!
