i go to university of Pgh. medical center this morning to be admitted. my insurance will not cover a stay here because out of network bullshit i have to cover a 500.00 deductable & 30% of the cost! had to leave, my doctor got nowhere with this! he will see me in his office for 3 day's of injections this would be office visit's & my doc seems to think that would be covered. my neuro is goin' above & beyond for me not to metion the fight he's goin' thru with the short term disability people. .................Jack

This does suck Bro, WTF....we work 5, 6, 7 days afriggin week, pay taxes and medical insurance and WTF do we get for it?

Its all bullshit

Our insurence won't even pay for xrays......I think they are coverin there end payin only about $ 12.00 of each one........we have the $ 500.00 deductable too and our year is about up so even tho we gotta pay all this we gotta start over again SOON ! Seems ta me xray's would fall under the line of preventative medicine which they promote 'I thought' ? (even tho I can kinda see em limiting the amount of xrays cover'd cuz so many docs take advantage and go fer it) Hope ya find a way ta go around all this 2late and get the treatments ya need done affordably. Pam that is fed up with ins. these days considerin how much we pay and "they don't" when needed !!

Dammit, I am sorry to hear that Jack. Insurance sucks. Maybe we ought to all move to Australia where Ins is free. Of course they also paying about 50/50 taxes.

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles with insurance. I had some troubles with the insurance company concerning treatment for CH, especially with the Oxygen, but I have a great doctor who really battled for me and a person in the HR department who fought hard as well.

Glad you have a doc helping you out... there aren't a lot that would do it.
