I was sitting on the floor and the baby came running at me. Some how his finger went right under my eye lid!OUCH !!!OUCH!! Tears have been pouring out of both eyes, the only relife I get from the pain is if i put pressure on the eye. I thought a nap might help, it made it worst! Talking about a headace I have one! I am waitting for Buddy to get home see what he thinks!
OH well shit happens! My eye ball looks like a road map, and all around my eye is blue, and opening that eye is not working to good!

E... You might want to see a doctor... The eyeball may have been scratched or otherwise damaged, and it probably should be evaluated. Good luck!

Have you tried an ice pack along with pressure on the eye? It may help reduce the swelling.

Just be glad you weren't bent over when the baby hit.

Rats, Elaine.

I did the same thing to my mother when was a tyke. I was sitting on her lap and poked my finger in her eye. It turned out that I scratched her. No bleeding but the doc said that's what it was, a scratch on the surface. It wasn't harmful to the eye but she said it hurt like hell. It healed well in a few days. Maybe that's what happened to you. OUCH

Aw Elaine, that sucks

think buddy will agree with us, get it checked out.....even if it's a scratch on the eye.......you'll probably need some kind of eye drop meds.

Doctor Budy came home , with a one eye patch, and some eye wash. I took a nerve pill and then he started operating. He plled a small piece of JDs fingenail out ! Then we used some eye wash the guy at the drug store gave him. Then I went to sleep, When I work up just the corner of my eye hurts, but I am going to have a shiner. I was worried it would bring on a cluster too!

My grand daughter did that to me when she was a baby.

I went to the doc and he put a drop in the eye that turns the scratch green if there is one. And if there is one, you need antibiotic drops so you don't get an infection in that eye......eye infections are not a good thing.

Oh Elaine OWWW and EWWW I got a metal chip in my eye once so I know how bad your eye hurt and poured water!!! Ihope it heals up real soon and that little nail didn't scratch your eye!!!

I'm sorry to hear that you have another pain in competition for your attention. Between the CH's, CPH's, and constant ache in my head, I don't know
whether to sratch my watch or wind my ass.
I am glad to see you are still fighting the beast Elaine, but unhappy that you have to go through all of this madess.
