I have noticed over the last several months that my hearing isn't as good on my left as it is on the right. Didn't really think to much of it. Today I had an eye exam because my vision has seemed to be getting worse and my left eye is 20/40 compared to my left eye at 20/25. I know the last time I had an eye exam they were not different like that. I also get hit on my left side with CH and am wondering if there might be a connection. So, my question is this..has anyone else experienced this? Just curious if it's common.

Lori, I do have hearing loss on my CH side when having them.

As far as your eyes, get used to it, my Dear, it is called "maturing" ... Wait till you get to be an old fart like me!!! ha ha ....

Listening to the loudest metal for over 20 yrs I have no hearing probs.......just starting to have eye probs reading.

OH SHIT I CANT SEE IT.........LOL ;D

I get tinnitis (ringing in the ears) during a cycle quite badly; do not have it out of cycle. Eyes are cataract lens replacements so no problem there.

Everybody's different. You'll look good in spectacles, Dorothy Parker not withstanding.

Yeah, I guess I'm getting older. It just seems to have both losses on the same side of my CH is interesting. Thought maybe there was a connection. But maybe it has absolutely nothing to do with each other. BTW, I'm not in cycle..it's been 1 1/2 yrs since last one. I just moved back to Florida after 3 years in VA so am now in the process of getting set up with new neuro to be ready. I'll be sure to ask him/her if there could be something to it.

I also can not hear very well out of my left ear, that is the side my clusters are on. Never thought much about it having anything to do with CH! My father also has a hearing problem in his left ear and so does my brother. I don't think it has anything to do with my clusters.

They tell me I have about a 30% hearing loss in my left ear which is my CH side.
I always just figured it was too many concerts over the years.
