The new and improved DCOM Worm is on the loose.
Affects only you folks with the M$ NT Kernel.
Win2K, XP and 2003 server. Win98 folks can ignore this. You got left out. Sorry.

Screw Windows update. Just go get the Patch at MS Technet.
Won't be crowded like the Update servers

The security hole M$ mentioned from a week/10 days ago, though, does affect 98, correct?

Yep Brian that one was amonsgt other things a HTML Conversion exploit. Not quite the same as a Remote Process Call (RPC).
It affected all versions of M$ Windows except 3.1 ;D.
