Title: Re: Convention 2004 Post by Brian_Y on Aug 7th, 2003, 11:49am Here is what puzzles me: Why would ANY place other than the East be considered? Do we want to intentionally sully our reputation? I mean, let's face the facts people. That which is west of the Mississippi is like what Australia was/is to England. Debtors and criminals. And their poor, unwitting descendants, of course. Might be a move in store for me by then (or before). I don't want the location to be a burden on others just so it is easier for me. Just in the Mid-West somewhere if possible. That's what I meant. Title: Re: Convention 2004 Post by BruceD on Aug 7th, 2003, 1:54pm Has OUCH or anyone every looked at the CH population on a state-wide basis. I just pulled the info from the "where we live" and combined it with 2000 census figures to graph the following. The first figure shows the actual number of CHers signed up from each state and the second figure normalizes that with the state's 2000 population. I'd go along with Jimbo on the Milwaukee thing - or at least somewhere in the Midwest. Number Distribution http://tinyurl.com/jc09 Normalized Distribution http://tinyurl.com/jbrd Take care BruceD |
