Got canceled!!!!!!!!!!.....Got aletter saying I had to reapply by the 8th of august today is the 5th and hubby went to pick up my prescripion and thye said its canceled...have an appt comin gup to and doc wants to start me on prednisone....damn it all to hell tried to acall the insurance comopany and of course they are closed.....damn its gonna be a loooong night I already almost to the feeling of wanting someone to shoot me in the head

Prednisone is really cheap, probably not as much or more than your co-pay, just buy the damned stuff and go on, insurance need not rule your life all the time. ;)

I agree with forgetfulnot...... buy what you need. At the very worst you may have to wait a while for
re- imbursement or pay out-right.

Don't go without meds or go without seeing the Dr. !!!
( I know easier said than done if you can't afford that cost. If necessary, borrow from someone or whatever).

Yup, bite the bullet and get what ya need. You can hassle with the insurance company later !!!!!!!!! Don't miss your appt. Most docs will accept a small payments over months when the patient can't afford it !!!!!!

Can't wait to hear the reason they jus up and cancell'd ya ?? I'm sure they have a real good SLIMEY reason. A friend's house insurence got cancelled cuz they found out he had a dog kennel and won't cover property that gives public type access......(cuz of poss. claims of accidents of all sorts)....he was freakin cuz he has a farm. But they found out he had this kennel deal goin on and sellin pups and said.......bye bye !! There all workin for the Teliban I think. Pam that dis-pizes insurence co's hanky-head ways

Well i borrowed the money from my sister to get my prescription and I called the Insurance and i explained what was going on and why i needed my prescription etc etc...and they said "oh your insurance ran out on August 3rd" and I asked why the letter they sent me said I had untill the 8th and she just repeated herself "oh your insurance ran out on the 3rd" damn those ppl are like talking to robots! I have to go down tomorrow to reapply.... Thanks guys/gals!
