I have an 8mm tape of the England Ouch convention, the prob is that to have it converted to DVD is going to cost $20 for the first disc and $15 for every additional disc.

Way to much money for my ass at this point in time.

My question is....is there anyone in the family that has a DVD burner......I will pay for all the DVD blanks.

I will have the first one made and mail it to you along with all the blanks.

Com'on geeks step up!!!!

I can burn you some DVDs. Is the file small enough to fit on a CD for those folks without a DVD player?

I'm with Kirk on this one... If the video is short enough (like less than 60 mins) it can be made into VCDs that should be playable on most set-top DVD players. If there's enough room, you can even attach a compressed video file (DivX or whatever) on the disc, so that it can be played and installed on a computer with only a CD-ROM drive. I think this option would make the recording available to more of us than a DVD would. Just a thought...
