It came to my attention that our latest mailing to Professionals in the headache field was inadvertently sent to some members of ch.com.

Please accept this as a personal apology for the mistake

It appears the names and email addresses were picked up from the list of recommended doctors on the OUCH website. In defense of the official "Compiler of Lists," the OUCH list is a bit confusing. (A doctor's name, address and an email link.) I assume there have been other instances of people on the list getting a letter from someone thinking they were writing the doctor directly.

You were not picked out by a harvesting program.

Being sent the letter does not mean you, are/were/will be/want to be/don't want to be/can't be, a member of ClusterBusters.

Being sent the letter does not mean you recommend or don't approve of the treatment or was in any way, an attempt to change your mind about the treatment.

All it meant was that at one time or another, you were thoughtful enough to recommend a doctor that knows how to treat clusters.

If you have any questions, concerns, complaints etc., please write to me directly. If you feel additional clarification would be helpful to the masses, please post a reply.

Again, sorry for any and all problems/concerns this caused.
