My baby girl climbed out of her crib for the first time last night..........oh man I'm in for it now LOLOLOL

Taraann,

My baby girl will be 5 in Nov, but it seems just like yesterday when she first crawled (fell) out of her crib. Boy does time fly.

We were in another room and she comes struttin in like she's all that. My wife and I were terrified because we had the rail up on the crib. She must have fallen to the floor. Ouch. She showed us how she did it. She put one foot on the top of the rail while holding onto a corner of the crib and sort of rolled herself up to the top. That night we took the rail off one side.

Amazing how limber kids are.

Generally, that's when you have to start keeping enough bail money in the house. After a while you get a sense of how much you need on hand based on the number of kids, weather, etc.

One of the kids in my daycare started doing that at like 18 months. They make a tent that clips onto any crib and it zippers... I couldnt get him to nap and he was keeping everyone else up so his mom got one for the porta crib and he is 3 now and still napping... it keeps him put... LOL (and it keeps him safe) good luck she sounds like a cutie.......love ree

and thanks for the tender mom moments I wish my 9 year old was still little snif.........

Mine chew'd her crib....honest. She crawled out and would climb across her dresser too. She also projectile vomited across the room....only thing she didn't do is spin her head around.....twice. One her first words was fuck you. My kid was scarey and a very hard baby ta deal with.....I won't get into the teen years. Pam that shoulda took up stock in exorcism :o

Better start using the parental controls on your computer and tell her dad to keep on eye on his credit card.

Yeah hide the credit cards, lock the fridge.....anything else? LOL hehehe

Oh and I have a story to add....when my brother first started climbing out of his crib my mother woke up with vegetables around her head on her pillow...my bro had made a salad around her head ;D
