Title: goin' to the doctor Post by 5-string on Jul 30th, 2003, 7:51am Hello all, I'm new here and this is my first posting. I've been dealing w/these headaches for about 4 years now. I've been to the doctor 3 times for it,rode the tube, took x-rays.....nothing wrong. the last time I went he diagnosed it as cluster headache, that was 1 year ago.I've got another app.this fri. cause I had a real bad attack 1 1/2 weeks ago and since then the left side of my head won't stop stabbing me. This really sucks. I was wondering if anyone had advise on what to ask him when I go. Thanks. |

Title: Re: goin' to the doctor Post by aprilbee on Jul 30th, 2003, 8:02am Hi 5-string! Welcome to the site! Sorry you're getting beat by the beast. If you haven't been to a neurologist yet, have your doctor set you up with one. There are tons of things here that you can print off and give to your doctor. Have you been keeping a journal of your headaches? That helps tremendously! Keep us posted on your progress. Again Welcome and wishes for Pain Free Days and Nights (PFDAN) |

While you're there, Join OUCH, it's free ;) Here's the link: http://www.clusterheadaches.org/members/discus/messages/23/235.html?1059439478 You will need to join in order to access the business board and get the write up :) I wish you all the best of luck!
