Glad you found this site toothpick (ouch), wish it was for a reason besides CH.

"Grab an oar" as they say here & start rowing.

You will soon come to know the meaning behind "row".

Hello Toothpick and welcome.

I've heard of inflicting pain elsewhere to try and take your mind of an attack, but never with using a toothpick.  I may have to try it.  I usually use ice on different parts of my face/head until I can't stand it any more.  Doesn't work all the time, but it does seem to make em a little less painful.

Glad, and sorry, you found this place.

Andy

Welcome to the board. Hope you learn alot here. Please stop stabbing yourself with the toothpicks. Just wondering after the CH is gone, does your mouth still hurt like hell?  :-/

HI Responders
thanks for all the welcomes.thought i should explain the tooth pick thing. i seem to be able to find a nerve in the gums that sometimes momentarly dulls the pain and as you know temperary relief is better than nothing. i have done this for so many years the gums  in that area rarely bleed anymore. i dont recomend this just sharing a story, and yes my mouth hurts afterward but not even close to the pain we all know.

Welcome aboard toothpick!
Sorry you needed to find it, but glad you did.

You've obviously been reading around the site a bit. Almost everything you need to know is here (apart form a cure of course) and you can ask for anything else!

Hope you get familiar with it and post away!

Hooter

Sticking toothpicks in is no weirder than wacking your head on the wall or trying to poke your eye out and I've done both of those!
