what's this all about,eh?? your BOTH family!!!!

Ree,
For me Topomax was a VERY bad experiance, here's
what I have in my notes -
Topamax-hands and feet fell asleep constantly, mood swings, stomach pain and bowel disorders,no appatite, phsycotic thoughts, could not focus on close objects without eye-pain,muscle spasms---did not prevent migraines or CH.

BUT,thats just me some people have very good results
and tolerable side effects.

Hows the O2 working? For me Verapamil works but
not under 720 and 960mlg/day during peek cycle.
Dave, your a lucky man to have someone like Ree
beside you, that makes all the differance in the world
sometimes.Hang in there bro, more vibes headed
your way.
                                PF2ALL,
                                   Billy

Ree, is Dave taking the topomax like Dr. Bigal suggested?  Starting at 15-25mg and upping the dose by 15mg each week until he gets to 100?

That seemed to be the key to having topomax work effectively with minimal side effects.

Ree we talked about that med on the porch at the convention.....believe it was Joe that's taken it b-4......it's an antisiezure med and so is the neurontin I take. From what I've heard so far it can really zone a person out pretty bad....neurotin doped me up for a while........so suppose after a while sum meds side effects can clear up but I'm not sure about Topamox....maybe it depends on if you can adjust the dose....not sure you can do that if it is needed strong into you system. I'm sure sumone will come along and add some personal expirience info for ya. I heard it can really make ya dopey and "out of it" big time ? Pam that is no meds expert and sending more good vibes to you both  :)

My neurologist said pretty much the same as Dr. Bigal. He started me at 25 and went to well more than 100. I can't remember the final dose. He said it's a tricky thing and has to be started slowly.  He also said that many have trouble with it
