Hello People, Well I'm back after being pf for about 24 months woooooohooooooo! but there here again ouch! I'm getting about 6-8 HA's a day/night. trex and verp!

Over the last couple of years I have developed a liking for Cocaine, I like to drink beer and do coke with my buddys almost every weekend, of course I've stopped now but, I was wondering if anyone knows, if I can still do coke with these ch's and how it might effect them.

We have a big golf outting comming up, and everyone is all stocked up, and I'm torn weather or not to..............!

Cocaine is not good for clusters.

I think that if you are on coke at the same time a cluster strikes you run the risk of dying from severe rectal bleeding. Butt hey, it's your ass, toot away if the bleeding ain't a factor.

If that really *was* a serious question... you need help.

'developed a liking for cokaine'... wow. Now that's a really nice way of saying you've developed a habit, or say, an addiction. Get help.

On a serious note, I doubt you'll find a clusterhead here that says it won't hurt you.

hopeful, this guy isn't talking about medical use of cocaine, he's specifically asking about recreational use. Find me a doctor that will publish a paper advocating *that*.

Although PRESCRIBED cocaine solution is a last resort treatment in Dr Robbins book, trying to do cocaine unsupervised, in order to treat cluster headaches is madness. IMHO Cocaine is a black hole without a good ending. My guess is that you won't be able to 'out-coke' a cluster headache without running into serious problems. What you do to your body is your business but unsupervised coke use will never be a reasonable treatment for CH. Sure you can do coke but it won't have anything to do with cluster headaches.

There are some serious answers to your serious question. Now, coming from someone who has suffered from a serious cocaine addiction requiring two inpatient treatments in a year to save my life (clean since June 4, 1994) I must ask the following.....do you really think doing cocaine is good for you in any way......in ANY way whatsoever. There are drugs that actually help most people with clusterheadaches, and thay are legal. Look here (http://www.clusterheadaches.org/medications.htm) for information on drugs that work much better than almost any illeagal drug, I ought to know, I have done them ALL in excess. It's what addicts do. Addiction is just about the only thing worse I can think of than CH, I hope you have neither. Good Luck.

Well, now I didn't mean to start a fight, a lot of you think I'm some greese ball crack head. This is not true I am an Attorney and probably make more money then most of you, I'm not braging I'm just saying that I'm not stupid, and I'm not hooked either, it's a social thing and I rather enjoy it with my other Attorney friends and other upstanding members in my community. I guess I was just wondering what you folks thought. WOW! this site hasn't changed a bit in the last couple of years.

By the way I just won a 2.5 million dollar case for one of my clients---------------BOY DON'T TRUST THE COKE HEAD!!

There was a time when I would do Cocaine with my friends who were all quite wealthy. Doctors. Attorneys. Engineers. You name it.

The laughable thing was, their status and intelligence is exactly what blinded them to the facts and reality of addiction. Too many of them are dead, broke, or worse. Cocaine is a deathtrap, plain and simple.

I suggest you ask one of your upstanding lawyer, medical or law enforcement friends.

Well...as far as the actual question that was asked, Cocaine would most likely give you a cluster headache. It is a very potent vasco-constricter, so while in the midst of the pain, it would probably help. When it wears off though, those constricted blood vessels tend to over dilate instead of going back to normal. Over dilation of blood vessels is the major cause of pain in CH sufferers, while many things can cause over dilation. This accompanied by the use of things like diesel fuel, sulfuric acid and other fucked up solvents to make cocaine points to it not being a real Einstein idea. When I was 16 a friend of my was talking about cocaine and it has stuck with me ever since.
He said, "Cocaine is too expensive, too addictive, and doesn't fuck you up enough." The first 2 points should probably do it, but the diesel fuel's a good one too.

Binger, WOW, thanks for the great information.

NOTE: In my group of friends this is normal, It's just what we do on the weekends, I didn't know everyone was so freaked out about it. I must have just been in my own little world.

In any case after reading all your messeges, I've decided I really don't need it and I'm not hooked, I just like it. So I'm just going to quit simple as that.

You guys made me feel like an idiot, when I just thought it was normal.

A couple statements that stick out, Do I want my kids doing it---NO!

Getting hooked and not even realizing it.

I also thought to myself WTF I'm 38 years old what am I doing.

Thanks CH's you may have saved me from myself.
