Title: Body building supplements - creatine etc.. Post by CJohnson on Jul 24th, 2003, 7:41am Does anyone have any experience with any kind of sports nutrition supplement such as creatine or gaba or andro? If so, did it affect your CH? I started going to the gym and have started supplementing with kre-alkalyn, which is a safer version of creatine. How about a high protein diet? Has anyone noticed if a high protein / low carbohydrate diet affected their CH? PFDANs -Curtis |

Title: Re: Body building supplements - creatine etc.. Post by justagirl on Jul 24th, 2003, 1:04pm I work out and eat a high protein diet. But, I'm a carb junkie!! I take creatine occassionally. None seem to affect my CHs either way. |

Title: Re: Body building supplements - creatine etc.. Post by vig on Jul 24th, 2003, 1:22pm Curtis, I've been doing a high protein/low carbohydrate diet/working out for about a year and a half and it helped my overall health (went from 200 to under 150). It made me stronger/more able to withstand the headaches, even if it had no effect on the headaches themselves. I've been drinking the Arizona/Sobe herbal teas instead of the shakes/supplements. I don't have a problem with ginseng or gringo bonobo, so I drink a lot of that stuff. I didn't need to bulk up, just get rid of the blubbah. Paul |
