Title: What happens? Post by barbee on Jul 23rd, 2003, 11:39pm I wonder how these CH's affect our brains. How can you have that kind of pain, and not have a change of some kind? The blood vessels dilate, and press on the nerves, or the brain, or some interior part of the head, and what is the result? Are the brains squished or bruised or do they return to normal. Who knows? ??? ??? ??? |

Title: Re: What happens? Post by Charlie on Jul 24th, 2003, 12:02am Welcome aboard. You are among people who really know what this is like. To answer your question: You need not worry. There is no evidence that CH has affects the brain. It hurts like hell and can make your life miserable but that's about it. Stick around. There are things to learn and people to listen. Charlie |

Title: Re: What happens? Post by OneEyeBlind on Jul 24th, 2003, 5:01am I don't know ... I think it was NancyC that said she thinks CH cause brain damage. I have seen evidence of brain damage on this board ............... so ............ I think the jury is still out !! LOL. For real though, I think the gaping holes, and not thinking quite straight is caused by the lack of sleep during a cycle. There is no actual damage to the brain from the attacks. |

Title: Re: What happens? Post by echo on Jul 24th, 2003, 9:49am Don't know if it causes brain damage. But I do have holes in my memory when really being blasted. May have something to do with the cocktail of abortive drugs I take to attempt to bring the SOB at bay. I may have been dropped on my head too many times as a child. |
