Does everybody have face pain sometimes numbness?My neck also freezes up stiff as a board....and hurts!! staying in one position to long makes everything worse....I have yet to bang my head on the wall only cause i thought my husband would commit me...he does squeeze it(my head) for me or i tie a bandana or ace bandage tight around my head look like a war victim...slapped the forhead...I still can't believe others go thru this...you really think your the only one when this happens no one talks about it!

There are times when my neck is stiff after a serious dance but I always attributed that to my attempt to pound my head off. Never had a numb face.

Thinking of face pain -- there is one guy in particular on this MB that gives me pain when I look at his face -- but we won't go there.

Cathy there is so much going on in my head right now and the fact i have finally found some one any one who understands is mind boggling...please be patient with me i'm new at this....

On the high Kips pacing the floors putting my left hand over the left side of my face as my left eye is exploading
lots of pain and the back of my neck on the left side i keep on rubbing because its feels tight. Run for the imitrex injections and 10mins later the CH starts coming down then its gone.But for over 5 years with no meds
it was pure HELL.With 4-5 CH aday for over 8 weeks 3+ cycles a year killing your self is always on your mind but we all get threw it and take one day at a time.Just hang in there and try and read as much as you can about.Right now i'm on Verapamil 480mgs a day and Depakote1500 mgs a day for prevention and imitrex injection for abortive

Dear God Yes!!!

Definately face pain, at least for me.

Last Night, I screamed at my husband, My face is on fire, Had to sleep sitting straight up, so many pillows I can't count, but movement to either side would further irritate it. I also experience numbness, sometimes I equate it to mini strokes, not that I have ever had one, but my idea of what a stroke would feel like, I have been known to even ask hospital staff is my face swollen esp cheekbones and across the bridge of my nose during migraines and during CH always my cheekbone area on affected side. Sometimes worse than the actual HA keeps me up.

Thought I was exagerating, odd that you should ask the question.

strange feeling isn't it...like a mask gone wrong...my tongue and teeth tingle sometimes too...and yes it makes things worse for me...it;s like some one sawed the scull bone around the edge of my face and trying to remove it, but it is some how still connected...strange strange feeling...

The back of my neck gets extremely tight on the side of the headache, along with a nice burning sensation.
