I went through the MB this morning and caught up on the posts over the weekend and it looks like the convention was a memorable time for all those attending. It looks like it was a time to laugh with old friends, meet new on-line friends face-to-face, form new bonds, and be there for each other in times of pain. I was traveling over the weekend too and got a chance to watch a bit of HBO’s Band of Brothers. I had read Ambrose’s book already and it seems that the OUCH convention was just a little bit like those soldiers in Easy Company. Sharing everything sure can bring a group close together.

Well, since not a lot has been posted this morning from you guys I assume that you’re either still traveling … or sleeping off the effects of a long weekend with family. Anyway, welcome back and to borrow a line from Jonny … grab your oar and get back to rowing.

Posts are bullshit when it comes to this convention, DJ and Mast spent hours burning discs....well over 300 pics on these discs.....if you get one you will know just how rocking this convention was.

I got mine damn it!!

It was fun Bruce. Too bad we weren't all there, and sorry I didn't drink enough beer to be more sociable. No where near enough time either.

Tommy D was great though. Almost as good a driver as the wife. :D Thanks to you both.

I've never seen others get hit before. Sadly, I'll never forget it. The other horror is the pain of having to drag around shit just to survive. Tons of support though and professional as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the lectures. I had to pay attention and learned a lot.

Glad you guys enjoyed 'em. I reaaaalllllllyy wish I could have made the trip, but you know how things go. Next year count me in!

Now, you guys go get some rest ... especially you Cat! It sounds like you did an awesome job but you really need to start ramping down so you don't hit the wall and crash. :)

Bruce, I can't ramp down LOL. There is too much to be done. No time for a break now, and that's just regarding the OUCH stuff, I am also moving from NY to NE in 2 weeks.

I'll have plenty of time to rest when I'm dead :)

In the meantime there's stuff to do! :)

LOL, that Massachusetts accent.
DJ's huge ass Molsen beer was sitting on the railing and Ree comments: 'Look at the big beeah'. Of course, us Pennsylvania boys immediately look out over our shoulders expecting to see a big bear walking up the lawn... do a double take... look at each other... and wonder 'what bear?' and why isn't anyone running.
