Due to recent posts regarding shrooms, I felt a compelling need to express a few points from my perspective. I would like to add, this is my view and does not necessarily reflect the beliefs of the Clusterbusters and others currently involved in this treatment.

First off, anyone who flames people and “pushes” this treatment in it recreational form is not only being completely irresponsible but also an embarrassment to those who are trying to do some good for all of us.

If your personal opinion is that of not wanting to try this, I applaud and respect your decision. This is not only a very controversial issue but could also cause great difficulties for anyone and their family should the be caught. Ethically and morally it is also a very personal and individual decision. Again, to flame, name call and push this is just plain wrong in my opinion.

If you are at wits end and do decide to try this than we are here to help educate those in such a way to hopefully provide “safe” and tested guidelines. Many have found great relief and even somewhat of a cure but that still does not mean this should be force fed to all. As a matter of fact, some have found no relief from our seemingly miracle treatment.

Perhaps in twenty years or so there will be a safe, government sanctioned, tested form of shrooms that can be prescribed as a treatment for our ailment. Until then (if then ever happens), I will continue to do my part to help compile data and refine the technique in our quest for the “Holy Grail” if you will. I will do this in a legal way as I take my medicine as maintenance now on an island that sanctions its use.

This subject has recently gotten out of hand in my opinion and I would like to personally apologize for some of the posts from pro shroomers. Although it is not my place and nobody asked me to I feel it is the right thing to do at this point.

Bottom line, if we can all agree to disagree on some issues and continue to work together for our common goal of a cure (no matter what form that cure takes), we will all be much better off in the future. Our pain is real, our opinions should all be respected and our goal is really the crucial focal point that needs to be brought back into perspective.

Thank you for indulging my rant regarding this debate.

BTW--you're allowed to rant but you really should end with "Of course, that's my opinion. I could be wrong." ;D(Dennis Miller did that every week)
