:'( :'( :'(..I can't....but Kim you know Im really tired...not had much sleep for the last few days....twins have both had chickenpox....poor Elliot has it really bad.... ::)...but then he's a male...they all have everything worse than the girlies.... ;D

damn! I don't get AMC anymore! Damn Comcast!! KH was my favorite! I cried at the news of her death this week. :'(

Oh, man....I thought I was the only one.......Kate....gone....I have dreaded the day, and now it's here. I have no fixation on movie stars.....but Kate was something soooo special. Wit and fire and determination......when I grow up, I want to be JUST like her.......and now, she's gone.
Saw every movie.....'fraid I'd be sitting around crying if I watched them again now.
In honor of Kate....Ladies.....START YOUR ATTITUDES!!!!

Don't worry, you're not missing a thing. AMC is ruined since late last year. Every 12 minutes (I'm serious) there is a commercial and they rarely show classic films. It's mostly 70s through the 90s now and they repeat the bad ones all the time. How many times do you need to see "Take Her, She's Mine." Funny once or twice.

I like Hepburn too. She was attractive in all kinds of ways. Didn't know she was in her 90s. What a life.

Kate the Great!

First time I ever cried over a movie...The Madwoman of Chaillot, Kate's monologue about a lost love had me in tears. Then she (as the Madwoman) went out and kicked a greedy industrialist's ass.

And she had Great Legs. And wore pants to show them off. Check out some of the early movies. Morning Glory, Stage Door, Bringing Up Baby...

When we named our daughter, my wife wanted Katherine after her grandmother. I was thinking Hepburn....and Kate it was.

p.s. Hepburn also suffered from a neurological condition, in her later years. It wasn't Parkinson's, but it made her voice quaver and her head shake. I forget the name of the disease, but in an interview hepburn said it wasn't life threatening or dibilitating, and her father (a minister) had it too.

You're right Charlie, AMC does suck lately! I just realized it wasn't AMC that I lost when I got Comcast, it was Turner Classic Network...they still show the black & whites on TCN and I miss seeing them.

My favorite Hepburn movies? Philadelphia Story, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?, and On Golden Pond. She was a class act! No one else like her.
