Title: O2 at convention and wheelchairs. Post by Jayne on Jun 19th, 2004, 10:47am Hi, There has been a lot of people worried about there being enough 02 for everyone to go around. I will be bringing 2 small e tanks. I know there are others bringing 02 as well. I will fill mine the first time but after that I can't afford to fill them again. If you don't want to risk not having any you can get some ordered before you come. HERE'S HOW...... "Williams medical Supply" in Nashville (down the road from the hotel). If you call and have a script they can deliver 02 to your hotel for you. I have just called them. You have to make sure you call and set things up at LEAST a week before the convention. You will have to talk to one of their 2 respatory therapists. STEVE BIGA, or BOB BRAKE. The telephone # is 615-327-4931. One thing to remember. This company closes at noon on Saturday, so keep that in mind. I hope this will help some of you. WHEELCHAIRS. The hotel said it "might" (waiting for an answer on that one) have 1 wheelchair. Williams medical supply will also rent wheelchairs and deliver them to the hotel. The basic wheelchair will rent for $12 per day or $35 for the week. WILLIAMS MEDICAL SUPPLy 615 327-4931 |

Title: Re: O2 at convention and wheelchairs. Post by Jeepgun on Jun 25th, 2004, 10:49am I hear ya', Thomas. What I mean is, there are people who expect people to do everything for them, rather than taking responsibility for themselves. (i.e. If you need a mask and tubing, buy it, pack it, and take it. If you need a wheelchair, find out where to call and reserve one for yourself. That sort of thing.) |
